St. Leo Abbey near Dade City in Florida celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Dedication of the Abbey Church on Sunday, January 29, 2023. The Most Rev. Elias R. Lorenz, O.S.B., D.D., V.G., Regional Bishop in the Archdiocese of Newark, was the main celebrant and homilist. Also present for the jubilee was the Most Rev. Gregory Parks, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of St. Petersburgh. Joining the celebration were the Benedictine Sisters of Holy Name Monastery, diocesan and religious clergy, oblates, families, benefactors and friends of the abbey and university.
