Abbatial Blessing at Richardton

The Most Rev. David D. Kagan, D.D., Bishop of Bismarck, conferred the solemn abbatial blessing on Abbot Valerian J. Odermann, O.S.B., as the tenth abbot of Assumption Abbey on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Two abbots of our monastic congregation, Archabbot Martin de Porres Bartel, O.S.B. (Latrobe) and Abbot John Klassen, O.S.B. (Collegeville), concelebrated the Mass. Many family, friends, oblates and benefactors were also present for this celebration. Ad multos annos!
